Andrew Lyons

Assistant Vice President, Project Advisory | Vertex

Andrew is a construction risk management professional with experience in real estate development and construction, as well as finance/lending (construction, inventory, and receivables) experienced on projects across a wide range of product types including multi-family, office, medical facilities, resort/hotel, educational, marinas, golf courses, and renewable energy projects. In addition to Construction Management , he has a background in accounting and finance with several years’ experience in internal auditing, as well as being a certified Six Sigma Black Belt with a focus on new product and process design and product/process redesign. This allows him to look at various processes related to project management and project billing in a new way to identify inefficiencies, areas with weak controls, etc.

With Vertex for over 12 years, he is now involved in management of the Project Advisory practice area as well as providing operations analysis of revenue and receivables within the group in addition to still performing technical work on select projects.

Ardalan Khosrowpour

CEO | OnSiteIQ

In 2017 Ardalan started OnsiteIQ out of Cornell Tech to bring transparency and accountability to real estate development. Along the way, he built one of the most powerful construction imagery databases to train an artificial intelligence that can understand and monitor progress. He launched OnsiteIQ's Development Intelligence platform in 2022 to help real estate developers and equity partners transition from reactive to proactive asset/project management. Ardalan loves to geek out about Real Estate Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Startup challenges.

Keir Evans

Vice President, Development | Boston Properties

After studying architecture at Yale University as an undergraduate, Keir joined Suffolk Construction to work in project management and field operations roles on commercial and residential projects in the Boston area. He then attended Harvard Business School to pursue an MBA and joined BXP (Boston Properties) in 2016. As a VP with the Development group, Keir has led the delivery of a mix of project types, including a high-rise residential tower, office projects, and life science buildings in Waltham and Kendall Square.

Ivan Rupnik - Moderator

Ivan Rupnik is an architect, scholar, consultant and Associate Professor of Architecture at Northeastern University. Over the last decade, Prof. Rupnik has collaborated closely with Prof. Ryan E. Smith on a series of research and consulting projects related to the global volumetric modular industry, including the “5 in 5 Modular Growth Initiative” Report for MBI. Last year, Rupnik and Smith launched MOD X, a platform for international exchanges related to the volumetric modular industry, with events in Boston, New York and Tokyo. Rupnik’s doctoral work at Harvard University has focused on the development of design and project management tools as well as regulatory frameworks specifically suited for offsite construction.
